Planning your journey to IVFDF?
The main venue is Sheffield University’s Student Union S10 2TG
Parking
If you need weekend parking close to the university we recommend Durham Road Q-Park car park, adjacent to the main venue. This costs £5 after 18:00 on Friday, and £6.50 all day on Saturday and Sunday.
Disabled parking bays are available on the ground floor of the Q-park, and there is step free access to the octagon from there.
Street parking in the vicinity is almost all permit-based. Some permit requirements no longer apply after 18:30 weekdays or on Saturday and Sunday, but we advise that you check before parking before being ticketed.
The SU is also accessible via blue and yellow route trams, and the 52 and 120 bus routes among others.
Can’t wait to see you all there!

This show is 90 minutes long.

Now that Christmas and New Years are out of the way, it’s time to start getting ready for IVFDF 2025!!!
The Final Program is still being finished up and we will have it with you shortly, but as of this weekend we will start posting regular announcements about who your evening dance bands are going to be, and it’s a very exciting lineup (even if we do say so ourselves)!
What we can tell you now is that on Friday evening, the front desk will be open from 4pm for collecting your tickets and t-shirts, and the first dance event will be starting at 6pm! Tickets will be available to purchase soon and we will post when sales go live, so plenty of reasons to keep your eye on this space!
We are also still accepting applications for stewarding! Stewarding gets you a discount on your ticket based on the hours you help out, and if you do 8 hours over the weekend your ticket is completely free! Plus, as a bonus incentive, the committee will love you and be forever in your debt! See the link below for details:
