Stewarding

Would you like to help us by stewarding?

Stewarding applications are now CLOSED!

Typically, stewards work either 4 or 8 hours over the festival, in exchange for a half price or free ticket. Stewards also get a free t-shirt. Stewarding is a great way to experience the festival and meet people.

We're exploring a variety of ways to make stewarding more accessible, including allowing signups with friends and allowing shorter shifts - if you have any thoughts about this, please contact us!

If you would like more information about stewarding, please see Stewarding Information.

If you still have questions, email us: stewarding@sheffield-ivfdf.org.uk.

Workshops

Workshop applications are closed!

Anyone with a skill or idea they want to share is encouraged to sign up. There's no pressure to have done it before - jumping in the deep end and giving it a go is what IVFDF is about! Please fill in this form if you want to volunteer, and we'll ask you for your contact details and a workshop description as well as any requirements you may have.

If you're interested in playing music for a workshop but you don't know how to find a workshop leader to work with, please fill in this form and we will do our best to try and match you up to a workshop.

PLEASE NOTE: the deadline to apply to run workshops is the 31st of December at 12pm!

We usually give one free ticket per workshop run. For musicians, in most cases you will need to play for minimum 2 workshops to get a free ticket. (There are exceptions to this for workshops that are particularly musically demanding.)

If you would like to know more about how running workshops works, please email workshops@sheffield-ivfdf.org.uk.

Other ways to get involved

We are also especially looking for people who can offer any of the following services, so please get in touch if you can help!

Morris Tour

IVFDF usually hosts a morris tour each year, with dancers visiting various sites in the city to dance, drink, and play! This usually takes place on the Saturday afternoon of the festival. If your morris is side is interested in dancing on the tour then don't hesitate to get in touch! morristour@sheffield-ivfdf.org.uk

We also welcome displays from morris sides in the display ceilidh, and if your feet haven't fallen off yet your morris side could run a workshop too!
